For Benjamin Davis, an environmental protection major from Granville, Ohio, choosing to attend West Virginia University was an easy decision.
Not only is it a perfect fit for his educational goals, he’s also eligible for in-state tuition through the Ohio Reciprocity program.
To Davis, the environmental protection major is a “jack-of-all-trades.”
“I like how it splits into specializations [pest management and soil and water conservation] and it provides a broad understanding of the environment,” he said. “You are exposed to all different aspects of the environment from soils to handling hazardous waste. To me, it is the perfect major for the environmentalist at heart.”
