A.D. Hopkins Scholarship
Worthy seniors or graduate students with an interest in Entomology, who have demonstrated originality and research ability will be eligible of consideration.
Henry W. Miller Jr. Scholarship
Preference will be given to outstanding students who desire to study horticulture. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of excellence in scholarship, citizenship and service with financial need also being considered.
Paul G. Moe Memorial Endowment
Outstanding graduate students completing course work or research in agricultural microbiology will be eligible for this scholarship. Preference shall be given to students presenting papers at professional conferences and seminars or exhibiting exceptional academic performance. The recipients and amount of the award will be determined by the Microbiology faculty of the WVU Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources & Design.
Richard and Leta Smith Memorial Award
Travel funds awarded to soil science graduate students in the Division of Plant and Soil Sciences to support attendance at professional conferences and meetings.
Vierheller Scholarship
An annual $500 scholarship shall be awarded to a junior or senior student in the WVU Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources & Design who has shown unusual interest and ability in a horticultural study program.
Vines to Wines Scholarship
Awarded to students majoring in Horticulture, with preference given to those with expressed interest in viticulture.
W.J. (Apples) McClelland / White Hall Farm Horticulture Scholarship
Open to undergraduate and/or graduate students majoring in the horticulture program. Recipients shall have demonstrated academic promise and financial need. A student who is a recipient one-year is eligible for consideration in any succeeding year. Recipients shall be determined by the Division of Plant and Soil Sciences Scholarship Committee in consultation with the WVU Office of Student Financial Aid. The award shall not exceed tuition and fees per recipient.
WV Master Gardener Association Endowment Scholarship
Supports qualified students within the Division of Plant & Soil Sciences. Scholarships are awarded at the discretion of the WVU Extension Service.
H.A. Wilson and D.A. Zuberer Graduate Student Award
Awarded to outstanding graduate students in Applied and Environmental Microbiology with secondary preference given to students enrolled in other graduate programs in the Division of Plant and Soil Sciences. Travel funds provided so that students can participate in research and education opportunities including, but not limited to, professional conferences and meetings.
